Thanks to all of those that attended another one of SLV Video`s fun afternoons at the theater - Avatar was just as good the second time through, and the Parents loved it...their first movie since Titanic.
11/11/09 - Regarding Website Email
The website email has been malfunctioning so if you need to get a hold of me try skuehl34@aol.com. Otherwise call me at the store....and if I did not email you back immediately that means I did not get it...sorry.
11/3/09 - Check the FAQs
Have added some material to the FAQs section that I think will open some eyes and remind others about how I love what we do here - has already offended one or two, but at least I can never be accused of being untruthful.
10/16/09 - Cleanliness
To help thwart the concerns of customers regarding viruses and such I wanted to share a little of what we do here - each movie case is disinfected upon return (in addition to the usual maintenance on every disc - love being the only store to do that); the front counter is disinfected every 30 minutes and the usual fixtures of hand sanitizer bottles for customers and employees are maintained/utilized hourly.
Each employee is given the option of wearing treatment gloves and the return boxes are sprayed with Lysol daily. Hope this helps...

2/10/09 - PASTA in the HOUSE!!
Check it out - starting this holiday weekend we will be carrying a variety of products from the Santa Cruz Pasta Factory out of SV!!
There will be fresh preps, frozen items, sauces, and some short prep meals. I am stoked on getting this account so please let me know what foods from their menu you like and I will get them.
Thanks to all in the Valley who have chosen to help support local spending - which in turn helps us all here. It is always seems to be the few that carry the masses forward in small communities like this.

The influx from Blockbuster going under has been huge - we have made a special days out/pricing structure for our SV customers...please ask when signing up for a new account..

9/18/08 - Remote drop points...
Don`t forget we have two roving drop points for all SLV Video titles. The two Toyota trucks that have the SLV Video (SLV VID) license plates are valid return spots. Anywhere you see the vehicles - the record distance being in Mountain View - they can be used.
6/1/08 - VHS to DVD
I finally made some space and time for some transfers to take place - VHS to DVD services now available in-store...ask Steve for details; appointments available Sunday or Monday.
2/27/08 - New addition to my Hi Def family...
Now that my format of choice is officially King - come check out our new Blu-Ray display - a beautiful Sony Bravia being fed by a BD player with full 1080 resolution. The BD player is available for rent also. Look above the refrigerator as you walk into the store...enjoy!

Spelling and grammar does not matter as they will be reviewed ONLY for those items prior to publication on the website. Steps: Register at www.slv-video.com. Select/search for film that is being reviewed. Fill out online review form and submit.
